Novitec Tridente boosts the Maserati Ghibli’s look and performance

Novitec Tridente, the Novitec Group’s Maserati tuning division recently released upgrade packages for the Maserati Ghibli. The aftermarket packages consist of gasoline and diesel engine tuning, bespoke 22-inch wheels and carbon fiber aerodynamic components.

The exterior of the Ghibli gets a front spoiler that is specially sculpted to fit with the production bumper. On the side, carbon fiber rocker panels make the Ghibli look sleeker and longer while a rear spoiler highlights the contours of the trunk. As a package, it is available for EUR 3,120 (about PHP 175,975) but each component can be bought individually.

The Ghibli also gets a new set of wheels with the 22-inch Novitec Tridente NM1. It features 5 double spokes and can be had in a variety of colors which include silver, matte black, titanium and polished titanium. Providing rubber for the wheels is a set of Pirelli P-Zero high performance tires that measure 255/30/ZR22 at the front and 315/25/ZR22 at the rear. The wheel set starts at EUR 3,980 (about PHP 224,480).

Both the gasoline and diesel models get a boost in power via the tuning company’s N-TRONIC tuning program which costs EUR 1,290 (about PHP 72,760). The Ghibli S and Ghibli S Q4’s 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 now produce 476 PS and 640 Nm of torque, eclipsing the stock figures of 410 PS and 550 Nm. The Q4 4WD variant will go from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and both the S and S Q4 will hit a higher top speed of 294 km/h instead of the stock 284 km/h.

NT 3

Ghiblis equipped with the 3.0-liter inline-six CRDi engine now generate 322 PS and 680 Nm of torque, higher than the production versions that only emit 287 PS and 600 Nm of torque. It will sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.
