Hoonigan Racing recently unveiled Ken Block’s Hoonicorn RTR at the 2014 SEMA Show. It was a collaboration by Ken Block’s Hoonigan and Ready To Rock (RTR), Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s automotive tuning brand. The Hoonicorn will star in Block’s upcoming Gymkhana ‘SEVEN’ video project.

“This is a project that I’ve been working on for two years, so to see it fully come to fruition and be able to drive it for Gymkhana Seven was absolutely amazing. I also knew that working with Vaughn and his RTR team was the right choice for this project since Mustang’s are their world, but they really went above and beyond on this car. The attention to detail with the fabrication and bodywork blows my mind. This is hands-down the best Gymkhana car I’ve had yet,” said Block.

Built by ASD Motorsports in Charlotte, North Carolina, the car is based on a 1965 Ford Mustang notchback and has been heavily modified. The body is finished in black and is adorned with Hoonigan, Monster Energy and other technical partner stickers. It has carbon fiber panels all around and the set of wheels is a 3-piece R40 from Fifteen52 that measure 18-inches. Rubber is provided by Pirelli branded Trofeo R tires that measure 295/30/R18 and has custom Ken Block compound.

Under the hood is a 6.7-liter Roush Yates V8 engine that generates 856 PS and 975 Nm of torque. It is mated to a Sadev SC90-24 6-speed gearbox that powers all four wheels. Additional upgrades included in the car are the hydraulic handbrake system, a custom ASD Motorsports suspension system and a full tubular chassis.
